Not the end of Sunday                                                            16/7/09

Sirs,

I would like to thank Mr Macleod for the many interesting and enjoyable hours I’ve spent reading his replies, even when he accused me of burbling (something no one has ever said to me before).

I do not think that this is the end of the Sunday, and that all the shops will open this Sunday or the next.

As I said before, there has been a ferry service in Harris for many years now and none of the shops are open.

It will happen, but it will take time and would happen without the ferry, this may just speed things up a bit.

Can I also say that I agree with most, if not all of what he writes in his last letter:  “We are, today, all losers- 15/07/09”. Christianity is under constant attack from all sides and most scarily from within!

It is a great shame that no one else seemed to devote the time as he did for this campaign, especially others from the LDOS, who seemed to stay very quiet.

Now, instead of spending time with “rub your nose in it” emails let us now put our efforts towards something else, such as a decant broad band connection in the islands, or maybe lower fuel prices?
