Locals not to blame for festival turnout 18/7/09
Sirs,
Hearing that the locals are getting blamed for the poor turnout and maybe closure of the festival is shocking! There is nothing on this year to attract the locals to go.
Nearly every year so far there has been a top band playing which has attracted everyone, but this year there’s nothing!
It's down to the people who organise the festival that its gone belly up this year, not the locals.
Maybe if they make more of an effort, and include well known bands, they'll see a rise in the numbers and profit next year.
