We definitely won't be fooled again                       17/7/09

Dear Sir,

Callum Ian MacMillan appears to be missing the point. He wishes to push the blame for the closure and loss of jobs at the rocket range onto the SNP; but seems strangely unaware that it is his precious London-controlled New Labour Party that are in government in London at the moment, and that it is they who are intent on closing the range.

Other than the standard policy of tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend of the London controlled New Labour Party, the standard approach of this party, along with their underlings, sycophants and apparatchik, is to bad mouth the SNP and descend to petty insults and name calling.

It might perhaps be more useful for them to come up with some new and workable ideas and policies to overcome the financial disaster brought on by their masters in London; a disaster that is going to keep us in debt for a generation.

I might add that the London controlled New Labour Party, along with the Tories, have been lining their pockets for years at the taxpayer's expense by having their grubby snouts in the trough; and neither of these parties have given a thought to the added, and increasing, tax burden imposed on the average wage earner.

As for our previous London controlled Labour Party representatives for the islands, I'd really like to know what either MacMillan or MacDonald ever did for these islands. MacMillan didn't even live on the islands.
They are the party that have failed our people.

I am quite sure that Keir Hardie and his ilk must be spinning so fast in their graves that if they were hooked up to generators they would light up the whole country.

Incidentally, I am not a member of any political party, but I will give my support to whichever party, in my opinion, is going to be best for Scotland. At this point in time, it is the Scottish controlled SNP.
