Defence minister “should not take 125 jobs out of Uist”         29/7/09

Commenting on the announcement that the Secretary of State for Defence, Quentin Davies MP will be visiting the Hebrides Range in Uist in next week, Na h-Eileanan an Iar SNP MP Angus MacNeil said: “I hope that Quentin Davies will only have one message when he visits Uist next week, and that is the Labour Government will not take 125 jobs out of Uist.

“That’s what the people in Uist want to hear.”

He added: “Playing the old trick of lobby me lobby me won’t wash.”
