Dear Sirs

An article posted on your site concerning Councillors poised to approve giant

SSE wind farm for South Lochs states that a council report has noted only one objection to the current application.

I would like to point out that they may find considerably more objections have been sent to the Scottish Government Consents department.

This was where we were directed to send correspondence. I also understand that objections to the previous application will also be taken on board with the current revision.

Given that from past experience, this Council takes absolutely no notice of public opinion on any subject, it would have been a complete waste of time, money and effort sending objections to anyone at Sandwick Road.

There was wholesale objection to the appalling HVDC converter station at Gravir yet they rubber stamped that without drawing breath.

Yours faithfully

Helen Blake
